This bedroom began as a blank canvas in a new home. The home owner found this beautiful black and white fleur de lis quilt at Pottery Barn. It was the perfect starting point with its strong pattern, but the black and white left a lot of room for play. We chose the color palette of blue, white and gray to compliment the black and white without overwhelming it. The blue was the perfect accent wall and we chose the dark gray corners to tie together the light gray and deep blue.
The corner walls are handpainted to exactly replicate the graphic design in the bedding. It serves as a great transition for the change in wall color.
This bed was handmade by Roy Emery (Knoxville architect) from a similar design in Pottery Barn. By custom creating the bed, we were able to choose a matching gray suede for a padded headboard. Our favorite part are the fabulous drawers hidden underneath for extra storage!

Corson's Bedroom
This is the last of the rooms for the twins...the little brother, Corson. Their dad is a huge Dallas cowboys fan, so that's where this room theme came from. We got the striping pattern from a vintage cowboys helmet and painted it by hand. The stripe continues all the way around the room, getting lower on the opposite wall below his name. The letters for "Corson" are custom vinyls. It was such a fun yet challenging room to do, but how cute is this for a little boy!? Best of all, it should grow with him right into his teens! Love it.
Addison's Bedroom
This is a room we did for the same 3 year old twins ... the little chica, Addison. We wanted to make it really sweet and appropriate for a 3 year old, but it can also grow with her as she gets older. We think it's best to create a room that you can keep for a long time...especially with little kids. All of the striping is hand painted and the white flowers are custom made wall vinyls with paint in the middles. The pink square over the dresser is actually a magnet board. We painted it pink and then handpainted the frame around it on the actual wall. The monogram is hand painted as well. This is one of our favorite rooms...we love the striping :)

Jungle Playroom
This is one of our favorites... an adorable playroom for 3 year old twins. They wanted a jungle theme, so we designed the room with different animals of the jungle and a main wall of safari patterns. Within the color blocks, there are four squares that are magnet boards and cork boards...perfect for displaying their masterpieces! All the patterns and colors are handpainted; the black animals are wall vinyls. We also had the cute window seats made to match the safari theme. They are having so much fun with the room, and it made us laugh really hard when the little boy saw the elephant and yelled, "dinosaur!!" Oh the innocence.
hola!
